FYP undergraduate (CS), responsible/member of session management committee (FIT Conference) and many other events. He has also served in an
International Environment at KTH (under SETECS Inc.) Research and Development activities. In local industry, he had been served in a Systems
Administrative job, where he being worked as a head of Hosting department in an Internet service providing company.
He has more than fifteen years of seasoned expertise in the dynamic and constantly evolving field of Information Technology, encompassing a diverse range of roles, responsibilities, and domains.
Dr. Majid Mumtaz received Ph.D. degree in Software
Engineering from Tsinghua University (which is world Top 20 QS world ranked
institute and number 1 Engineering University in Asia) during which he remained
active member of information security and cyber security field specifically
did research in Public Key Cryptanalysis, Cryptography and Information and
Communication systems security. Overall, he has published six impact factor
papers in journals of international repute with cumulative impact factor 12+. His
research area includes but not limited to information and communication systems
security, IoT Security, Public key Cryptography, and public key cryptanalysis, post quantum cryptography, etc. He
has supervised/co-supervised many R&D projects of BSCS/BSSE/MCS students. He
is reviewer of several prestigious journals and conferences. Besides teaching
and research activities, he is also remained active to supervise
administrative tasks and completed them as well with success.
